What is the Hungarian Club?
The Hungarian Club offers international students a unique opportunity to connect with Hungarian culture, history, and traditions through a variety of cultural programs. From guided city tours and countryside excursions to vibrant community events, our aim is to create unforgettable experiences for all participants.
Why should you participate in our cultural programmes?
Because you can discover the beauty of the city and nature with us, make new friends, and have memorable adventures!
Fall semester: City tours
At the start of the fall semester, we organise English-language group sightseeing walks led by local guides. This increasingly popular programme starts in October with six groups. First-year undergraduate and master's students often join, as do PhD students, to discover Győr's hidden treasures and historical sights.
Spring semester: Excursions and hiking
At the end of the spring semester, we organise exciting excursions and nature walks. In the first two years, we arranged one trip each year, but last year students could choose from three different excursions. These programmes are extremely popular, with high levels of interest and often long waiting lists.
What awaits you at the Hungarian Club?
- Discovery: Get to know the historical and cultural treasures of Győr, or enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the surrounding area.
- Community: Meet other students and build meaningful relationships in a friendly environment.
- Experiences: Take part in unforgettable programmes.
