Hungarian and International Cultures Unit
What does our unit do?
At Széchenyi University, the Hungarian and International Cultures Unit organises programmes and activities that help international students integrate and learn about Hungarian culture. Our activities range from Hungarian language and culture education to community events, helping international students to not only study here, but also to feel at home in Hungary.
What is our goal?
The projects organised by this unit aim to support the integration of international students into the Hungarian university environment. One of the key initiatives is the Hungarian Language Mentor system, where native Hungarian speakers offer guidance and support to international students. In addition, several cultural programmes—such as the Hungarian Film Club and the HungarianClub — provide students with opportunities to explore and experience Hungarian culture.
Why choose these programmes?
Over the past two to three years, these cultural programmes have become increasingly popular among international students. Participation is growing steadily, proving that the programmes are useful and entertaining.
Join this community and experience Hungary's rich culture in a welcoming and inspiring setting!
