Course Overview

To prepare students for the Corvinus University State Business English Exam. This course is done with Gábor Szabó who prepares students for the written part of the exam while John Kowalchuk prepares the students for the oral and listening part of the exam.

 

Course Outline

  1. Introduction

An explanation of the structure of the exam and the marking criteria. Review current news topics. Explain methods and ways to prepare for the oral and listening part of the exam.

Students will learn information and vocabulary related to this topic. Students will learn how to prepare for spoken summary (how to take notes) and also how to give a proper summary.
