Course Overview
Given the present circumstances due to partial lockdown and online learning the course will remain fluid and can be adapted at a later date to adjust to any possible changes/return to face-to-face teaching. This includes changes to both topics and tasks.
Students will develop their speaking and reading skills by extending their vocabulary at an intermediate/upper intermediate level in a range of business and job market related topics. The course is based on a high level of interaction which will be made possible in weekly online meetings. Its focus is on the language needed in various business areas and to gain deeper insight and understanding of the global economy and issues. Students will complete various written tasks and assignments.
Assessment
Continual assessment. Each class students need to complete vocabulary development tasks, discuss various topics.
