The Centre for Languages and Culture at Széchenyi István University is offering a 20-hour intensive course on Hungarian Culture and Language.

 

The lessons aim to inform international students and trainees of the University, as well as foreigners staying in Győr and its surroundings, about Hungarian culture and to teach them basic phrases used in everyday communication. With the help of the course, participants will gain insight into the lives of Hungarians and therefore have a better understanding of the country. Practical support is provided to help solve language challenges in common situations such as shopping, ordering in a restaurant, travelling, etc.

 

 

The course consists of 10 sessions (2 × 90-minute sessions per week).

 

 

The first lesson will be held on 7 July 2025 (Monday), from 14:00 to 15:30.

 

The course fee is 52,000 HUF (a 50% discount is available for SZE students and staff).

 

Registration fee: 10,000 HUF

 

Lesson times: Mondays and Wednesdays, from 14:00 to 15:30
