Are you an international student, trainee, or expat living in Győr? Break down the language barrier and discover the beauty of Hungarian culture with our 10-week interactive course!

What we offer: This course is designed to make your stay in Hungary comfortable and fun. We move beyond dry grammar and focus on real-life situations:

• 🗣️ Everyday Communication: Learn the phrases you actually need.

• 🛒 Survival Skills: Shopping, public transport, and dining out made easy.

• 🇭🇺 Cultural Insight: Understand the people and customs around you.

The lessons aim to inform international students and trainees of the University, as well as foreigners staying in Győr and its surroundings, about Hungarian culture and to teach them basic phrases used in everyday communication. With the help of the course, participants will gain insight into the lives of Hungarians and therefore have a better understanding of the country. Practical support is provided to help solve language challenges in common situations such as shopping, ordering in a restaurant, travelling, etc.

Logistics:

• When: Thursdays, 15:45 – 17:15 (90 mins/session)

• First Session: 12 February 2026

• Venue: Széchenyi István University, Győr (Egyetem tér 1.), New Knowledge Space Building, Room 216.

Pricing:

• SZE Special: 26,000 HUF (50% discount for students & staff!)

• Standard Price: 52,000 HUF

• One-time registration fee: 10,000 HUF
